Schoenstatt Fathers Congregation
The Institute of Schoenstatt Fathers is an international community, present in more than 100 countries, structured and divided by regions of Priests and founded by Father José Kentenich in 1965. Its main task is to be at the service of the Family and animate apostolically the Schoenstatt Movement.
The main mission is to work for the Schoenstatt initiatives wherever they are developed, as well as to serve other projects from their Schoenstatt experience.

They have the task of guaranteeing the fecundity of the charism of Fr. Joseph Kentenich in today’s world. This includes: work in schools, social projects and other initiatives that contribute to the education and training of people around the world.
The community in Paraguay was united from its beginning to the Region of the Father (consisting of Argentina, Uruguay, Italy and Nigeria) based in Argentina. The branch chapter from April 12 to 14, 2014 decided the founding of the Paraguayan Delegation. The formal constitution date is May 31, 2015.
Since December 8, 2014, there are two affiliates based in Asunción and Tupãrenda (border between the cities of Itauguá and Ypacaraí) in the vicinity of the two main sanctuaries and all of them are advisers and promoters of the Movement.
The FJK is the organization in charge of managing the Administration and Accounting of the Community, which has legal status and an independent account, whose funds do not belong to the Foundation.
Schoenstatt Fathers Novitiate
The Novitiate is an instance of discernment and formation of young people who have the desire in their hearts to be part of the Community of Schoenstatt Fathers. It consists of two years of intense introduction to the vocation and the community.
The priestly path within Schoenstatt is made up of Courses, people who begin the path together and who gradually become a great family that in turn forms the entire Community of Fathers. The novitiate time is carried out in Paraguay, being the Ibero-American headquarters of formation.

The FJK is the organization in charge of managing the Administration and Accounting of each course, which involves everything from the costs of the Novitiate facilities and its staff, to the management of contributions from the different Regions of the Community for their novices.

Vocational Circle
It is a voluntary association of men and women of the Schoenstatt Movement, who have come together to promote and support vocations to the Priesthood and consecrated life, through testimonials, prayers, and activities.
It is constituted to give continuity to the activities carried out by the Círculo de Sion, which provided important support to the vocations of the Institute of the Schoenstatt Fathers and which was so diligently led by Fr. Nicolás Schwizer for several years, currently remaining in the same spirit and with renewed objectives.
The main objective of the Vocational Circle is to focus on the promotion and support of the priestly and consecrated vocations of the Schoenstatt family in our country.
The activities of the circle will be successful to the extent that the Schoenstatt family gives its support.
With everyone’s generosity we can achieve the established objectives, and we hope that kind members continue to join us who give their time, prayers and generosity to this beautiful apostolate.
